The Blazewind Breastplate is a highly sought-after item in the second phase of WoW Classic Season of Discovery. It is a leather chest armor that provides a +23 Agility modifier, making it one of the strongest pieces of gear for Agility-using, leather-wearing DPS classes such as Hunters, Rogues, and Feral Druids.
To obtain the Blazewind Breastplate in WoW Classic, players need to complete the quest Tremors of the Earth (also known as Broken Alliances for Horde players). This quest requires players to defeat several powerful enemies in the Badlands, including an ogre boss, whelps, and two level 50 black dragons. It is a challenging quest, but with a strong and well-geared group of players, it can be completed with coordination.
Upon completing the Tremors of the Earth/Broken Alliances questline, players can choose one reward. The Blazewind Breastplate is one of the options, along with the Prismscale Hauberk (mail armor) and the Warforged Chestplate (plate armor). The Prismscale Hauberk provides a +23 Spirit modifier, while the Warforged Chestplate offers a +24 boost to Strength.
In most scenarios, we recommend choosing the Blazewind Breastplate. The Mail/Spirit armor is too niche for most classes, except Restoration Shamans. The Warforged Chestplate is best suited for Warrior and Paladin players who need more Strength. There is also a fourth option, the Mindburst Medallion, but we advise against choosing it as there are better necklaces available elsewhere in the world.
