The LoL Worlds 2023 Knockout stage is the final stage of the tournament that will determine the season 13 World Champions. In this stage, the best eight teams from the Swiss stage have advanced to compete for the title.
After a long-fought Swiss stage, the top eight teams have emerged as the contenders for the championship. These teams have been drawn into a single-elimination bracket based on their Swiss stage score. The four teams that make it to the semifinals will have a chance to fight for a spot in the Grand Finals. The ultimate winner of the Knockout stage will be crowned the season 13 World Champions and will have the honor of lifting the Summoner's Cup at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, in front of thousands of fans.
The 2023 Knockout stage is a significant milestone for the Chinese league, the LPL. For the first time ever, all four LPL representatives have successfully made it to the top eight. This is also the first time since 2014 that no European team has made it to the top eight.
Following their losses, NRG, GEN, KT, and LNG have been eliminated from the tournament.
